Two things I should have bloged about in January but didn't

The first was a trip to St. George with my parents and sister. Tony couldn't go so that was too bad. We had a great time though, we started at Mt. Pleasent (I know it sound like a creepy town) to visit my aunt Sharon and uncle Monty, while we were there my cousin Heather came down to visit her parents so we got to see her as well. We thought we would check out the local town life, so we went to the ONLY bowling alley in ephrim (don't know if I spelled that right). It felt like we went back into the 1950's. We had to keep our own score and had to hit a button to reset the pins. We had a blast though and Whitney learned how to actually score a bowling game. She also got mad at me because I wouldn't let her use a caculater to keep score! She hates me when I make her do math!! After bowling and Mt pleasent we headed to St. George, but first we had to make a pit stop and get some goodies! We stopped at the local Walmart and ran into my mom's cousin Janell. It was fun to see her. My grandparents on my dad's side live in St. George so that is why we were making the trip down. It was my grandpa's birthday, and we just wanted to get out of town! It was so much fun to see them, they are so cute. We listened to my grandpa's stories about getting out of speeding tickets. It was hilarious, my grandpa is a little speed demon. While we were down there my aunt mel and uncle jeff and their kids also happended to be down there so we got to see the too. My cousin Jordan wants to be a pilot and had to take this test, which he scored very high on. He is such a smart kid. I hope he goes far with it! The last night we were there my grandma and grandpa Whitney ended up in St. George on their way home from San Diego. They were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! My grandparents came over to our hotel to try and find us. They drove right past Whitney and I even though we were waving our arms and in swimming suits. Finally we caught up with them at their hotel, and chatted with them about their little vacation. On our last day we went back to my grandparents house and decided that while the boys were going to play cribbage, the girls were going shopping. We had fun and I think we all got something. Then it was finally time to come home, but to make it a trip we would definately remember, my dad hit a dog while it was trying to cross three lanes of traffic on the freeway. We were in the far left lane and there was nothing he could do. He felt so bad, and Whitney cried. Oh and I forgot to get any pictures with my grandparents which I am so mad about!

AND THEN........

Ok so that was one story, now here is the next!! BOWLING FUN with both the HUFFS and the MCFALLS! It was so long ago now that I don't even remember what day it was on, OOPS! However, Tony and I decided that we wanted to do a big bowling party with everyone so we got it all planed out. It was a lot of fun, the kids had a blast. It was their first time ever bowling. They did very good they even bowled higher that their grandpa huff! Which they loved. The only problem with the night was the music was insanely loud, we couldn't even hear each other talk but here are some pics

New Years!!

Can I just tell you I love NEW YEARS!! My family always has a big party, we cook steaks, play games, shoot off fireworks, and of course have won-tons! This year we played a game called wits and wagers. It was so much fun and the great thing was we could all play. My grandma and I were on a team together. The first round we didn't do so well, but the second round we changed our team name to TEAM AMAZING and we won. So it is all about having confidence! Here are some pics!!!

BOWLING

Tony gave me a camera that I can keep in my purse for Christmas and I love it! I gave him a new bowling ball, since we have joined the bowling league. I just have to mention that Tony has become obsessed with bowling for instance he went 4 times last week. This bowling trip was the Sunday after christmas. We had a great time. I also watch a lot of the movie CARS so I changed our names to match. I thought it was hilarious!!

Christmas Tree Hunting!

The sunday after Thanksgiving we went christmas tree hunting. It was a pretty nice day, it was a little windy so I can't call it perfect. We went to a new area that was flatter than we usually go to, so that was nice. It makes walking easier for me when it flat. The joint in my ankle that was fused was the one that deals with uneven ground so my ankle is still learning how to compensate for that. Everyone found a tree pretty quickly. Afterwards we found this neat little area that was practically on the side of the cliffs, but it has an awesome view. Also it was totally out of the wind, so you completely forgot there was any, until you got back to the top. Well here are some pictures from the hunt!!!

Tony trying to figure out the shovel.

Tony and I with our tree. I know its really fat, but we have a big living room!

Whitney annoyed that I'm taking her picture, she wasn't feeling very good on the hunt

Preston and Mandi's tree. It's so cute and little perfect for their little apartment.

This was the view from where we ate lunch! It was Beautiful.

The Twilight Midnight Showing!

My Twilight ticket!!
I went with my friend Jenica to the midnight showing of Twilight! I was a little worried because I don't like who they got to play Edward and Bella, however it was still good for the movie version of Twilight. Luckily the guys who played Jacob and James made up for Edward! I liked them a lot :). Jenica and I got there at about 7:45 and went to dinner with some girls from her work. They were all really nice, then at about 9:00 we went a got in line so we could get good seat, then finally at about 10 O'clock we got to get our seats. We entered a silent raffle that wasn't really silent, it was very interesting mostly funny. I didn't win anything in the raffle but our tickets had numbers on them and I won a gift card to a deli in bountiful. At midnight the movie started and there were a lot of screaming girls (I was not one of them, I am not a WOO girl). The nice thing about going to the midnight showing was no previews although sometimes I like those. Oh and I almost forgot there were a lot of interesting people there in interesting attire, but my favorite was the 11 year-old who wore a tutu, tube socks, some really short shorts, way too much makeup. I couldn't believe her mom would let her leave like that. All in all it was a really fun night and I'm glad I went. I even stayed awake during the movie which is really saying something!
