In the middle of August we took Emma on a road trip to visit her aunt Jamie and uncle Tres in Seattle. She did so good on the 13 hour drive. The only times she got fussy was when she was getting hungry. We had so much fun on our trip. Thursday was just driving and even that was more fun than usual, I even got to drive for the first time on a road trip with Tony. Friday Tony, Emma and I went to a neat little town called Fall City and to the Snoqualime Falls. The falls were amazing, I have never seen such a big waterfall and it was so powerful. Saturday we went with Tres and Jamie to the Seattle Aquarium. That was a lot of fun and we saw some pretty cool fish, seals and sea lions. We also ate lunch on the pier and it was delicious, the freshest seafood anywhere. Sunday we got to go boating on Tres and Jamie's amazing boat on a huge lake. It was so much fun we even took Emma out on the tube. Monday was more driving as we left Seattle and drove down to Newport, Or. Monday's driving not so much fun. There weren't a lot of spots for Emma to get out and play and it was a much longer drive than we thought it would be. Tuesday we took Emma to the beach for the very first time in her life. We drew her name in it and let her feet touch the water. The water was pretty cold so we had to go put shoes on her. After the beach we went to the Newport aquarium. it was huge and had a lot to see. Both aquariums were neat in there own way. After that was our long drive home.
