Introducing Emma Rae Huff

Emma Rae was born on Saturday November 28th at 5:38 PM

She weighed 6lbs 12 oz and was 19 inches long.

Everything went really well except my doctor was out of town :( but I didn't care too much at the time as long as someone was there who could deliver her. The on call doctor was really nice and comforting. I really liked delivering at a smaller hospital. They were always right there if I needed them. All in all everything went really well. Contractions weren't very much fun but the rest wasn't bad at all. Here are some pics

The Nursery

Tony and I finished the nursery today. It looks amazing, we are so happy with it. We went with a rock and roll theme, which is very hard to come up with for a girl. We found a bass and a guitar on ksl for 40 bucks and spray painted them pink. The big records came from my parents basement and I painted those. The little records came from a friend of Tony's that he works with. I love it and think it is awesome. I figured this is my only chance to decorate the room how I want, since next time she'll have her own idea's. Here are some pics of the nursery.

Our August camping trip to China Meadows

Our family went camping this year to China Meadows and for a first time, in a really long time, we all made it up there (just not all at the same time). For some of us it was trickier getting there than others. Tony and I were following my parents up there when all of the sudden my dad's truck started smoking. So we pulled over and it was gushing something, I don't remember, but it was not good. Luckily at this point we had just passed Morgan, which is were my great grandma Bell's house is, so we turned around and went to her house. My dad parked his trailer in the field next to her house unhooked and we drove home. My parents tried to find a truck the could rent for the weekend, but no such luck. We were just going to bag the whole trip, but Tony and I talked them into bringing their car and staying with us in our trailer. Not ideal but why ruin your fun, so they finally decided to do that. So back up Weber canyon we went. Finally we made it camp. We all had a blast and I think my family was glad they decided to come. We both learned a very important lesson. My parents learned sometimes you don't need everything that you pack, most of its overkill. I learned you can't always rely on your parents to have everything you need. It was a really good time and Brandi's kids are so cute and always make any trip fun. She has really good kids and they are great campers. Here are some pictures from the trip... The colvert that we jump into every year. This year it was really cold so no one jumped in. However Bentley did get pushed in, it was pretty funny! Thrid trimester!!

Holy Cow I am into my Thrid and final trimester and it is going by really fast! On monday I have to go get my Rhogam shot. Not looking forward to that, I hear its a very thick solution that is injected into you. Yikes! We have the paint for emma's room and the rock and roll decoration's. I'm very excited for this room. I'll post pictures as soon as its done. I am feeling really good, except my heel with the screws in it from my surgery is starting to hurt more and more. That is kinda scary to me, but I put up with the ankle pain for at least two years, so whats another couple months. Tony and I have so many projects to finish I hope we get them all done in time. Which is why haven't posted anything in a while. Well wish me luck.

Emma going to be a little later than expected

We had a doctor's appointment today and found out everything is going very well. However our doctor moved our due date to the 27th of November. She measured only at 18 weeks at our 20 week appointment and nine weeks at our 10 week appointment. I expected it to be the week of Thanksgiving so it not a big surprise to us.
