Blessing Day

On January 3rd Tony and I had Emma blessed. My father was able to bless Emma and he did an amazing job. I know he was very nervous, but he hung in there and did great. It was so amazing to see all the family come out for the blessing. We are so lucky to have that much family around that we share our special day with. Emma did really well and only cried a tiny bit during sacrament. I thought she would be more cranky considering she didn't take a nap at all in the morning like I was hoping she would. She had some pretty awesome guys in the circle who helped bless her. She had Grandpa McFall, Grandpa Huff, Uncle Preston, Uncle Scott, Uncle Richard, Great Grandpa Whitney and my Uncle Jim. Here are some pictures for the special day

Christmas

This was Emma's first Christmas and we had a great time. Okay so she pretty much slept through the whole thing and it was a little stressful trying to get everything done especially with Tony working graveyards Tues, Wed and Thurs before Christmas, but we managed. My dad was nice to babysit so I could finish my shopping and my mom helped me wrap presents. Tony's brother and his wife were able to come into town from Seattle for the holiday's and it was great to see them. They are so much fun and we love any chance we get to see them. Here are some Christmas pics

A month old already!

I can't believe Emma is a month old already. Time goes by so quickly it amazes me. Some of my favorite things so far are:

The way she lights up when she sees me

How happy she is unless she's hungry or cold but those are easy fixes.

How she loves to cuddle at night before bed time

Sleeping in together

Seeing my family light up every time they see her.

And of course her great big smile!

Introducing Emma Rae Huff

Emma Rae was born on Saturday November 28th at 5:38 PM

She weighed 6lbs 12 oz and was 19 inches long.

Everything went really well except my doctor was out of town :( but I didn't care too much at the time as long as someone was there who could deliver her. The on call doctor was really nice and comforting. I really liked delivering at a smaller hospital. They were always right there if I needed them. All in all everything went really well. Contractions weren't very much fun but the rest wasn't bad at all. Here are some pics

The Nursery

Tony and I finished the nursery today. It looks amazing, we are so happy with it. We went with a rock and roll theme, which is very hard to come up with for a girl. We found a bass and a guitar on ksl for 40 bucks and spray painted them pink. The big records came from my parents basement and I painted those. The little records came from a friend of Tony's that he works with. I love it and think it is awesome. I figured this is my only chance to decorate the room how I want, since next time she'll have her own idea's. Here are some pics of the nursery.

I know I have some baby showers coming up so I just wanted to let everyone know Tony and I have registered mostly at Target and a little at babies r us. We do need a lot of things being new parents. So if any one is interested you can look at those stores.
